The Scholarship program provides an opportunity to apply for an award of up to $1,000 to cover travel to Wales and expenses incurred in undertaking studies related to Welsh-American history and culture.

Scope: Facilitation of cultural exchange between North America and Wales.

Welsh ethnic connections: Not essential but a connection with Wales is an important asset.

Eligibility: Those aspiring to Bachelor, Master and Doctoral degrees or equivalent at recognized academic institutions. Application must be supported by the host institution. Financial need must be documented.

Deadline: Submission by March 1, 2010. Awarded May 2010 based on competition and sufficient merit.

Award limit: $1,000.
