The Exchange Scholarship program provides an opportunity for Welsh Americans to apply for a $5,000 award to study in Wales.

Scope: Facilitation of cultural exchange between North America and Wales.

Welsh ethnic connections: Not essential but a connection with Wales is an important asset.

Eligibility: Those aspiring to Bachelor, Master and Doctoral degrees or equivalent at recognized academic institutions in Wales. Application must be supported by the host institution.

Deadline: Submission by March 1, 2010. Awarded May 2010 based on competition and sufficient merit.

Award limit: $5,000.
