Lloyd Family Travel Scholarship

The Lloyd Family Travel Scholarship provides an opportunity for scholars from the United States and Canada to apply for an award of up to $1,000 to cover travel-related expenses to Wales in undertaking studies related to Welsh-American history and culture.

Scope: Facilitation of cultural exchange between North America and Wales.

Welsh ethnic connections: Not essential but a connection with Wales is an important asset.

Eligibility: Those aspiring to Bachelor, Master and Doctoral degrees or equivalent at recognized academic institutions. Application must be supported by the host institution. Financial need must be documented.

Deadline: Submission by March 1, 2011. Awarded May 2011 based on competition and sufficient merit
